The fertilized egg will implant in your uterus this week.

This egg is called a blastocyst and it measures 0.1-0.2 mm in diameter. Your babies sex and other characteristics  have already been determined

 

 

 Calendar Week 5

Your baby is about 1.5 to 2.5mm long. All major organs are in the early stages of development at week 5.

 

 

 

Calendar Week 6

Your baby is now 8mm long. Organs, like the kidney and the liver, continue to develop. The baby’s eyes are forming and the heart begins to beat! About 6 weeks pregnancy week by week pregnancy

During the 8th week, your baby is at 0.61 inch (15 mm) in length about the size of a cherry. The eyes, ears, and nose continue to develop.

Your baby’s size increased to 0.9 inch (19 mm) this week. All of your

The eyelids are starting to fuse, and will continue to until the weeks 25 to 27.

The ears and upper lip are fully formed and external genitalia are in early stages of development. Your baby enters its fetal period at the end of this week.

Your baby’s weight doubles to about 0.25 ounce (8 grams) by the end of the 11th

Your baby will attain a weight of weight of about 2.5 ounces (70 grams). The baby’s skin is very thin, and blood vessels can be seen through. Fine hairs, which are
